When I started tutoring in 2009, my website was called www.AlexPleaseHelp.com. It worked for the time. It was straightforward, easy to remember.
But just as we grow and change as individuals, so do our stories and the ways we represent ourselves.
As of December 2024, Tutor Salad is my fresh take: personalized, flexible, and here to meet your learning needs exactly the way you want it.

My New Name
My New Name
Names are important—they’re how we introduce ourselves to the world, and they hold so much of who we are. For a long time, I went by “Alex,” but life has a way of showing you who you really are.
Today, I go by Samantha (she/her/hers). It’s a name that feels like me, a name that fits.
If you’ve known me as Alex before, know that I’m still the same passionate tutor and STEM expert. Just with a name that brings a lot more joy to the table. 😊

Rebranding wasn’t just about a new look or a new name. It was about aligning my business with the values I hold dear:
Personal Growth: Tutoring is more than helping students pass tests. It’s about supporting growth and confidence, just as I’ve embraced my own journey.
Inclusivity: My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space for all learners, including neurodivergent students, LGBTQ+ families, and anyone who feels they need an ally in education.
Adaptability: Change is good. It’s how we learn, improve, and become the best versions of ourselves. Tutor Salad reflects that in every session.
